When there is change in society, it does one of two things, take the public by surprise and also the issue of reality. Interested parties are usually slow in accepting the reality. It is not always the case, especially in State or City that self-image is paramount. To manage a city riddled with severe fractures – takes every good grace and for those of us who are looking to wrestle some of these good graces through private and public operation, some comprises are not necessary.  In terms of any elections, candidates must have these political machines at any level, must have operators at the City box that will to detonate ‘thule’ box to disseminate information leading to consensus of opinion and acceptance. In my case, the onus fell on people who have no reason to consider an outsider relevant and this outsider was occupying a serious place in the actual landscape…..
